New Science Education Program Builds Emirati Talent from the Ground Up

The Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC), in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) and Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG), has launched the ‘Tech Quest’ science program. Aimed at introducing Emirati students in grades 8 and 9 to potential science and technology career opportunities, the eleven days of hands-on workshops and classes will run from March 25 to April 5 2012 at Abu Dhabi University’s Abu Dhabi campus.

ATIC and UC Berkeley conclude the first executive leadership program

Tuesday evening marked the graduation of the first 20 students from the Leadership Development Program, a joint venture between The Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC) and University of California, Berkeley Hass School of Business. The curriculum is designed to empower Emiratis as well as expatriates working at ATIC with fundamental leadership skills specifically applicable to the advanced technology industry. The program focused on creating a core group of Emiraties to lead future technology ventures and drive the growth of an advanced technology hub, as part of the ATIC vision and efforts to support economy transformation.
